Our membership is underpinned by shared risk factors for chronic diseases, including overweight and obesity, unhealthy eating, and physical inactivity.

Governance
ACDPA is guided by a CEO Steering Committee, which comprises the Chief Executive Officer from each member organisation and Executive Officer. The Chair rotates among member organisations.

The ACDPA Government Relations and Communications Advisory Groups comprise representatives from all member organisations to jointly progress ACDPA's priorities around increasing prevention, risk assessment and early detection, and creating healthier environments.
Other alliances
The NCD Alliance is a civil society network of more than 67 national and regional alliances (of which ACDPA is one) and over 300 members in 80 countries dedicated accelerating action on noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) to promote health, protect rights and save lives.
