The Australian Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance (ACDPA) provides an independent voice advocating for policy to prevent disease and improve outcomes. Our membership is underpinned by shared risk factors for chronic diseases, including overweight and obesity, unhealthy eating, and physical inactivity.

Governance

ACDPA is guided by a CEO Steering Committee, which comprises the Chief Executive Officer from each member organisation and Executive Officer. The Chair rotates among member organisations.

The ACDPA Government Relations and Communications Advisory Groups comprise representatives from all member organisations to jointly progress ACDPA's priorities around increasing prevention, risk assessment and early detection, and creating healthier environments.

Other alliances

NCD Alliance

The NCD Alliance brings together a global network of more than 2,000 organisations in 170 countries to elevate chronic diseases (noncommunicable diseases or NCDs) prevention and management on the global health and development agenda.
