The Australian Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance (ACDPA) contributes to national policy discussions by providing an independent voice advocating for policy that recognises the value of prevention.
ACDPA develops evidence-based policies and recommendations through position statements and submissions to government, focusing on prevention, integrated risk assessment and effective management of chronic disease risk.
We focus on risk factors where there has been limited progress in reducing risk and we have a supporting role for other major risk factors.
We also work to increase risk assessment, early detection and management of risk through integrated health checks.
